The victory, fueled by a historic night from running back Kaedyn Cobbs, pushed Guyer's district record to 2-0. Cobbs Runs Wild From the opening drive, it was clear the Wildcats were dedicated to the running game. Running back Kaedyn Cobbs was virtually unstoppable, carrying the ball 30 times for 186 yards and punching in four crucial rushing touchdowns. Cobbs helped set up the game's first score with a massive 46-yard run on the second play of the opening drive, leading to a quick 7-0 lead for Guyer. The Cowboys fought back, cutting the lead to 7-6 after a touchdown pass from Ishan Mair to Carter Zingelmann (two-point conversion failed). Guyer responded by stretching the lead to 21-6 just before halftime, highlighted by a 29-yard touchdown pass from quarterback Carter Morgan to big tight end Zane Rowe. The Wildcats' victory was officially sealed by the relentless Cobbs, who scored his third and fourth touchdowns of the night in the second half to solidify the 35-21 final score. Denton Guyer's overwhelming 277 rushing yards on the night contrasted sharply with Coppell's 27 rushing yards, demonstrating the decisive difference in offensive control.
